L-Arginine naturally has an amine-like aroma that can sometimes be described as fishy. This may be more noticeable in warmer storage conditions and shipping during warm or hot weather. In airtight bottles, the natural amine odors can build up and be more noticeable on first opening. This is a normal characteristic and does not indicate spoilage. While some brands add masking agents and/or artificial excipients to reduce odor—we do not. We keep this formula clean, with only organic rice hulls as a natural flow aid.
